NFC VISION 2030 is Nippon Fine Chemical’s vision of its future self.
We want the biggest smile possible on the face of everyone who connects with Nippon Fine Chemical, and to that end we come together as one, setting out to achieve seven goals.
NFC VISION 2030 Company Statement & Subconcept
“KIREI”—What does it mean?
“kirei ” is a Japanese word expressing the concept of “beautiful,” “fine,” “clear,” or “clean,” and can be used as an adjective, noun or verb. We at Nippon Fine Chemical think of “kirei ” as making things better for everyone with a connection to our company, for communities, for the environment, and for the future. For this reason, we made “KIREI” the NFC VISION 2030 keyword.

Message from the President
One important measure I promoted upon being appointed company president is what has now been unveiled as “NFC VISION 2030.” To achieve it, we launched the Long-term Vision Policy Committee and, together with employees recruited in-house, hammered it out over the space of about half a year.
Our Company Statement is the slogan: “Smiles on Faces: The Power of KIREI.” And, as subconcepts, we acclaim the power of KIREI to sustain the Earth, society, and the future, and express our unshakeable intent to pursue the course of Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) and, to ensure a sustainable society, contribute to the attainment of sustainable development goals (SDGs).
To achieve the NFC VISION 2030, we set in place seven goals—goals that embody the aspirations of our employees. Furthermore, to achieve these seven goals, each goal has been assigned separate, specific targets by which to achieve it. From here on out, we will attain those goals, steadily, step by step, aiming for our result: the achievement of NFC VISION 2030.
NFC VISION 2030 is the collectivity of Nippon Fine Chemical’s aspirations, and that we seek to make a reality. The whole company strides out together as one, all eyes on the goal of showing the world by 2030 just what Nippon Fine Chemical is and the important role that we play.
